There are so many awesome modifications you can make to your Jeep Wrangler. One of the coolest additions that you will want to consider is a new grille. Jeep Wranglers are known for their timeless grilles with simple, circular lights. However, there are some unique designs out available that can add even more character to your Jeep. The other great thing about changing your Jeep’s grille is that it’s very easy to do. Lean just how easy it is by looking over our guide on how to replace your Jeep Wrangler grille.
1. Pop Your Hood
As with many modifications you may make to your Jeep Wrangler, you will want to start with popping the hood. You will then look for six plastic pins along the base. Use a pry screwdriver and carefully remove all six plastic pins. As you remove the plastic pins, make sure you put them in a place where you won’t lose them.
2. Remove the Plug
After you remove the six plastic pins, the next step is to locate your turn signal indicator and remove the plug. This will ensure that you don’t rip it off as you remove your old grille. Now that you have removed the six plastic pins and the plug, you are ready to move on to the final step.
3. Slide the New Grille On
The final step on how to replace your Jeep Wrangler grille is to simply remove your old grille and put your new one on. Once the new one is in place, you will want to screw in the six plastic pins. You have the options to use either the old pins or the new ones that came with the new grille. Just make sure you do have some spare plastic pins handy in case you lose one.
