The Most Iconic Jeep Models Ever Made

Jeep is one of the most popular automotive brands in the world. The American company has also put out some iconic vehicle models over the years—some of which you can still purchase today. See how the brand has evolved with the most iconic Jeep models ever made.

Commander

A relatively recent addition to the Jeep catalog is the Commander, which came out back in 2006. With a boxy styling similar to the Grand Cherokee, the Commander is a longer vehicle that presents a bit of luxury with its boxy, yet sleek design. However, the Commander still retains the off-roading capability that has become a staple of the Jeep brand.

Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee first launched in 1984 with the XJ and is still in production today. While the modern Cherokee features a more rounded design, the original versions had a boxy look to them that makes them easily identifiable. This Jeep model design is a smaller 4x4 wagon vehicle and the older Cherokees still commonly appear on the road today.

Wrangler

The Wrangler has become the most popular model sold by Jeep today with various types available. A Jeep Wrangler is a heavy-duty vehicle that drivers can use for off-roading. Not to mention the vehicle is one of the most customizable vehicles out there with, cool additions such as Wrangler grill inserts, bikini tops, and so much more.

Willys MB

Born on the battlefield for the U.S. Army during World War II, Jeeps used to uphold another name and purpose. The Willys MC will continue to be the most iconic Jeep model ever made because the vehicle is still around today. The Willys MB was in production from 1941 to 1945 and features the iconic Jeep characteristics, such as the grill and the circle headlights that have become a staple of the brand’s design for 80-plus years.
