Best Off-Road Trails in Florida

When people think of off-roading, many think of trails in California, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and other western states. On the east coast, Florida has a lot to offer off-roaders who are looking for new challenges. Discover the best off-road trails in Florida ahead.

Big Cypress National Preserve

The Big Cypress has over 270 miles of off-roading trails to enjoy—full of swamps, flat grassland, and many more landscapes that are distinctly Floridian. This is a great spot for those who are looking to go on a nice and slow off-roading adventure.

Lazy Springs Recreation Park

If you are looking for an off-roading trail that is a little bit more challenging, then Lazy Springs might be a better destination for you. At Lazy Springs, you can find everything from mud pits to rocky terrain, making it a great location for some off-roading fun. Just be sure you equip your vehicle with Jeep JK mudguards

Osceola National Forest

There are also off-roading trails in Florida where you can find a forest setting. The Osceola Nation Forest resides outside Jacksonville and features miles of designated off-roading trails for you to take your Jeep Wrangler on. However, it wouldn’t be Florida if there weren’t any swamps, which Osceola also has to offer.

Redneck Yacht Club Mud Park

One of the best locations in Florida for muddy obstacles is the Red Neck Yacht Club Mud Park. This off-roading location was a potato farm before it became the largest off-roading spot in Florida. Redneck Mud Park has a lot to offer for off-roading enthusiasts, such as live music, camping, and other festivities.

Ocala National Forest

The last one on this list is also one of the best off-roading trails in Florida. The Ocala National Forest has over 200 miles of trails and some stunning scenery to go with it. Ocala has clay pits, miles of wilderness, and many other obstacles that can challenge your Jeep Wrangler.
